Simon Pearce

Simon Pearce opened his first glassblowing workshop in Kilkenny, Ireland, in 1971. In 1981, Simon moved his operation to Quechee, Vermont, where he completed the restoration of an historic woolen mill. The Ottauquechee River provides hydroelectric power for the glass furnaces along with electricity for the entire facility.

Today, visitors to The Mill can view the hydroelectric turbine, interact with the teams of glassblowers, watch potters at work, shop in the retail store and enjoy a meal in the restaurant.

From inception, Simon’s vision has been to create products that are beautifully designed, produced with premium quality materials and time-honored techniques and intended for a lifetime of everyday use. This original vision and inspiration lives on with everything we do. Today, Simon Pearce artisans in Vermont, Pennsylvania and Maryland are utilizing the same handcrafting principles and techniques Simon brought with him from Europe.

Come in to Corrick’s today to see our fabulous collection of Simon Pearce Originals!
